Marion, Heat and the trades
the heat have recently said they want to trade 4 time all star Shawn Marion, he is earning 17.8 MIL on the final season of his contract and i feel that he is getting over paid for his output.
Hawes or Oden(right now)
i personally love oden and hawes so its like picking a favorite child.
i feel as though Oden can light it up but, his injuries are holding him back and hurting his consistence, some days he could put up a strong double double and have 2-5 blocks, others he will have a game where he has 5 shots makes one pulls in 6 rebounds and can't get anything going, for the minutes he is playing he needs to be puting up some good numbers.
Hawes is one of the best young big men to play right now as is oden but, Hawes is playing more minutes and playing well, i feel oden will start putting up 3 blocks every game soon he is that good, hawes could do that but is less likely, they are very close stats wise both shoot a very high percentage and get a fair few rebounds but i feel u give oden 2/10s more game time to be the same amount as hawes,
Oden will have more rebounds(he already does)
almost the same amount of points,
same amount of blocks,
and more assists,
Well lets compare stats.
Hawes is .497%FG/ 1.9 Blk/ 2.0 TO/ 7.1 rpg/ 1.5 ast/ 12.4 ppg with 28.7 minutes pg
Oden is .509%FG/ 1.5 Blk/ 1.7 TO/ 7.2 rpg/ 1.0 ast/ 7.8 ppg with 20.5 minutes pg
take your Pick and say what you will about mine,
ODEN for the win, as he is to good and he plays less minutes
however keep in mind it is so early in both their careers i can't really make a whole-hearted call on this one.
OKC, home and away record
i feel they will get 8-10 wins, i feel the change in coaching was a very wise decision, that coach had only ever been a assistant i would have rethread they got a college head coach to begin with, coming off a win against Memphis who have only won 4games and lost 13, leaving the Thunders record at 2-16
a rumour
There is a rumor according to krespinis.net that Carlos Arroyo(1.88-PG/SG) may leave Maccabi behind and return to the NBA. Arroyo seems to be a candidate for the Orlando Magic but he is still tied to a contract with Maccabi that won't just let him go without a compensation. i know he is a reasonable player and will be a good inquisition to
another ODEN comment,
just a awesome player and if he can stay up and going at 100% he can help
"He's been trumpeted as the next Bill Russell.
Or the next Sam Bowie.
He's dominated in some moments, but has been dunked on and dissed" by Shaquille O'Neal.
coming from a distinguished player like shaq this is very true he is a streaky player and we will see if he can hold up and play the game as he did for
chris duhon, 22 assists,
he put up a franchise record with 22 assists which is crazy, he was dropping dimes and finding his team mates unbelievably well he used his great vision of the court and knowledge of basketball to lead his players to the right spots and find them. With this game he wasn't the only one breaking milestones and personal bests, David Lee had career highs in points (37) and rebounds (21) and became the first Knicks player with 30 points and 20 rebounds in a game since Patrick Ewing had 34 points and 25 rebounds on
rookie rankings NBA,
1.Derek Rose, awesome Combo guard who has a lot of defensive qualities, putting up 18.4 points a game a steal and 5.8 assists.
2.O.J Mayo, super scorer and proved it against
3.micheal beasely, 6'8 forward pretty Showtime only 19 and his coach is teaching him well. He is only playing 28 minutes but, he is putting up good numbers, 5.4 rebounds and 14.4 points.
4. Rudy ferandez, interesting that he so high, good at scoring around 12 points a game.
5.Marc Gasol, big important player, 7.1 rebounds and 12.2 points, he is improving very well and i think he might turn out as a really influential player he is strong athletic and makes good moves for his team to get the bucket.
6.Athony Morrow, playing limited minutes putting up some good scoring numbers but what’s most impressive is he is 53.3% from beyond the arch, which is amazing.
7. Greg Oden, now that he has slimmed down he is going be more into the play as he will get to more shots, and get more blocks and contest them well, a good big man in the NBA can go along way.
8.jason Thomas, under rated early on is proving his critics wrong as he rebounds and scores with best of the young men, 6.5 rebounds and around 12points a game.
9.Brook Lopez, another big man,6.5 boards and 11points a game, he takes good shots and he always does the smart thing, seems composed and collected for a young fella yet to show me that he is worthy of top ten but, who knows i might be wrong.
10. george Hill, unlucky he isn't higher on the list. Shooting 1 from 3 from beyond the arch scoring a touch more than 11 a game, always and when i say always i mean always hurts his opponent when sagged off.
